7 Day Kitchens truly lived up to their name! We were told that with all the extra painting and flooring we were having done throughout the house, plus the custom office cabinets we were having put in that it would take at least 10-11 days to complete, but they managed to pull it all off in 7! Seeing their daily progress was amazing, and my friends on Facebook couldn't believe how much work was being accomplished in a single day.
Most importantly, despite their speed, they did high quality work and were a dream to work with throughout the whole process - from the design stage all the way to the end. I had no idea what to expect and was nervous going in about having to micromanage everything - as I tend to do - but Jason, the Project Manager, took care of me every step of the way and made sure everything was exactly to my liking. It's amazing how relaxed I was throughout the week while my whole house was being torn up!
I've heard horror stories from folks about how they were without a kitchen for months while their contractors drug their feet on every little thing. I'm so thrilled we didn't go through that experience and we now have a beautiful kitchen to come home to every day.

My wife and I had been wanting to remodel our kitchen for years but we could not stomach the thought of people working inside our home for weeks or months. Most contractors were saying anywhere from 5 to 8 weeks for construction. Recently we started looking around again and came across 7 Day Kitchens in Charlotte. We were skeptical at first - a kitchen remodel in 7 days, whatever - but after meeting with Barry we were convinced we made the right call. He walked us through the process from day 1 to day 7 and it made so much sense. He even prepared a written estimate during the first meeting. We could see that we were dealing a different kind of contractor. We hired 7 Day Kitchens and set the installation date during the first visit. A few days later, we met Michelle and Michael to walk us through the design process. Michelle held our hand through the whole thing and endured our endless - sometimes silly - questions. Our installation date arrived and the team rolled in. Our project manager Jason was great and kept us informed every step of the way. Matter of fact everyone that we came in contact with was great. They were very respectful of us and our home. They did a great job keeping the work area clean. We had one small hiccup with one of the pullout trays. We showed it to Jason and he took care of it without any question. 6 days later - not even 7 days - and our brand new kitchen was completely finished. They started on Monday and were done on Saturday. We were blown away and we absolutely love it. If you need a kitchen remodel you owe it to yourself to call 7 Day Kitchens in Charlotte.

Our experience with 7 Day Kitchens was phenomenal. When we initially requested a quote, Barry (the business owner) reached out to us directly and was available via phone call or text pretty much anytime we needed him throughout our process of gathering estimates.
Once we selected 7 Day, Barry and Michael (designer) had multiple meetings with us for design and product selection. The meetings made it easy to understand our options and how each decision impacted the end result and cost. They worked around our schedule and were accommodating and fully communicative throughout this part of the process as well.
When the job started, Jason (project manager) was a true delight to have in our house every day. We chose to rent a place to stay during the renovation and we felt fully comfortable with Jason running everything in our house. He called or texted anytime he had an issue and there was no major issues that him and the team couldn’t find a solution for.
To wrap things up, Barry did a walk through and helped us identify what things needed to be touched up before he would accept that the job was finished and Jason worked around our schedule to execute the remaining punch list.
I was extremely happy with the end product and the process that got us there. I’d highly recommend giving Barry and his team a chance to earn your business if you have a kitchen renovation in mind.

We are over 2 months out from our full kitchen renovation with 7-Day Kitchens, and we are 100% happy with the workmanship, customer service, and the final product we received. From the start, Barry was receptive to our needs and worked hard to make sure we had a new kitchen that would meet our needs and fit within our budget. Because our job was a little more extensive, he did say it would take 10-14 days; other quotes that we received estimated 90 days for the same project. That alone might have been enough to make us go with 7-Day Kitchens, but then his quote was also reasonable and fair. I’d be lying if I said we weren’t a little worried that his promises seemed too good to be true; but those worries were soon put to rest.
After we decided to move forward with the project, we met with his kitchen designer, mike. He spent several hours with us, listening to our ideas and asking us questions to help him design the perfect kitchen for us. His first rendering was just what we asked for; but after meeting with us again, he gave us some ideas to make adjustments and create an even better kitchen than we had imagined. Even when we had several tweaks in the next few weeks, he was always available and willing to do whatever we asked to make it perfect. When I wanted a pull-out utensil drawer, he made it work… and the same was true when I asked for extra storage in my island & peninsula and a custom casing for my refrigerator. Whatever we asked for, Mike tried to make it happen. Tiffany, the interior designer, helped us make countertop selections and pick out the hardware for our cabinetry; I couldn’t be happier with the choices we made..
As the work began on the project, we were even more impressed with 7-Day Kitchens. Jason and Larry were on site daily, making sure that everything ran smoothly. I’m not sure how he does it, every subcontractor that Barry sent to our house was a master at their trade: skilled, efficient, and professional. Their attention to detail and their commitment to our satisfaction was obvious in the way they worked and is evident in the final product as well. We had several small changes during the actual renovation, and they always accommodated our requests. Despite several unanticipated issues found during demolition, they did what they needed to do to make sure we were finished on time – never skimping on quality or workmanship. And just as promised, our renovation was complete in 12 days – and slightly under budget (does that ever happen with a contractor???)
In the weeks after our renovation, we’ve continued to be impressed with their customer service. When a cabinet door wasn’t completely square, Barry sent someone out to make adjustments to it; when that didn’t work, he ordered a new door and had it installed within a week. We’ve had a couple of other small issues, but each one has been answered quickly and to our complete satisfaction.
In the months since our renovation, I’ve recommended them to several friends and family members who are considering a renovation. Our 90s kitchen, once dated, small and dark, is now beautiful, bright, open and spacious. When other friends complain about how long it took to complete a renovation or how frustrating dealing with a contractor was, I’m so happy that we decided to go with 7-Day Kitchens.
